Hellbender Surveys (2024)

Assisted Dr. Robin Foster with eastern hellbender (Cryptobranchus alleganiensis alleganiensis) surveys in WNY. We assessed the reliability of noninvasive survey techniques with underwater borescope cameras. I additionally assisted with the capture of adult hellbenders, water quality tests, and the administration of PIT tags.
